Rowan is from Cork, Ireland, the daughter of a pub owner and an art teacher. She was the weird kid who dyed her naturally auburn hair black at 15 to fit in, then grew it back at 18 when she realized standing out paid better. She studied fine art at Goldsmiths in London and still paints large abstract canvases in burnt orange and emerald that she refuses to sell because "they're not finished yet." They've been not finished for three years. Her pub quiz knowledge is terrifying.
